While there’s only a month left before the November election, there is still time to plan how you will vote.

The due date for voter registration is Oct. 15. You can register online, by mail or in-person. Here’s how:
- In person: Register to vote or drop off an application at your local election office. To find the nearest election office, visit this website and enter your county.
- Online: Visit the state’s elections website and fill out the online voter registration application. You’ll need a valid Kansas driver’s license or state ID card. Fill out the form online, print it out and submit as instructed.
- By mail: Print and complete an application form, or contact your county elections office and ask to receive an application by mail. Include your driver’s license number or state ID number, or the last four digits of your Social Security number. Mail completed forms to your county elections office listed at the bottom of the form.
If you are already registered and unable to vote in-person this election, fill out the application for a mail-in ballot here. You can mail the application to your local election office.
The deadline to request a mail-in ballot is Oct. 29. All advance ballots by mail must be postmarked by election day, Nov. 5, and be received by the election office by Friday, Nov. 8.
