Multi-genre artist Shaboozey will headline the third annual Rock Chalk Block Party on September 27.

The event will take place on Mass Street between 10th and 11th streets, the night before Kansas football takes on TCU at Arrowhead Stadium.
Shaboozey was featured on Beyoncé’s country album Cowboy Carter and released the hit single “A Bar Song (Tipsy).”
The alt-country/hip-hop artist has found major success on streaming platforms and the Billboard Hot 100, where “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” has held the No. 1 spot for the past 11 weeks.
The Rock Chalk Block Party is free and features fun for all ages. Kansas Athletics has released the timeline of events for the Rock Chalk Block Party:
– 5:30 p.m. – Gates open; music and activities begin
– 7:30 p.m. – KU Pep Rally featuring the KU Band, Spirit, and guest speakers
– 7:55 p.m. – David Morris
– 8:30 p.m.– Shaboozey
